Typhoon Marine Blowers
The Typhoon 12W and 15W Marine Blowers are designed for onboard marine application. With our standard Butterworth Cast Aluminum Mounting Housing, these rugged, reliable and efficient Marine Blowers are designed to operate on compressed air (12A and 15A), water (12W and 15W), or hydraulic oil (12H and 15H). The high volume capacities of these blowers make it easy to handle gas freeing, ventilating, drying, or de-icing applications aboard ship. They are compact, lightweight and easy to handle.

Tornado 8" and 12" Electric
Light weight yet ruggedly built, Prime-Air Tornado electric blowers provide up to 3,000 CFM free air delivery for ventilation of tanks, manholes, process vessels and similar confined spaces, as well as for cooling/drying applications.
When fitted with optional inlet duct adapters, the Tornado's high static pressure capability makes these units ideal for exhaust applications. Single and dual adapters are available. The dual adapter is used with two exhaust ducts for removing welding fumes or toxic vapors from two locations at once. Electric motor powered, these lightweight units are easily transported from job site to job site.
Tornado blowers with Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) motors come in three sizes, 8, 12, and 16”. Model 8 is powered by 3/4HP motor, Model 12 by a 1 HP motor, and Model 16 by a 2 HP motor. TORNADO 8, 12, and 16 TEFC units are furnished with a surface mounted Motor On/Off switch, with a 6’ cord with grounded wire plug connection.
Tornado blowers with Explosion Proof (XP) motors are supplied with an explosion proof motor and switch (NEMA Class 1, Div 1, Group D). These units are suited for use in hazardous locations and are available in the same size/HP as the TEFC units. NOTE: Cord and plug not supplied by Prime-Air. |

Venturi Hurricane Blowers
Using compressed air or steam, Hurricane air blowers provide high volumes of air with NO MOVING PARTS. Hurricane blowers are used in supplying or exhausting applications such as: tanks, towers, refineries, process plants, pressure vessels, cooling/drying applications, foundries, sand blasting and shipyard applications, manholes, cargo holes, and other similar confined work areas. Hurricanes are also suited for use in hazardous atmospheric locations.
Venturi Air Blowers Principle Of Operation
In the Hurricane, air or steam enters a concentric manifold chamber surrounding a Venturi throat. A series of orifices located symmetrically around the chamber are positioned to expand the air or steam into the reaction zone downstream of the throat. It is here that the high velocity air or steam imparts its energy to slower moving air and accelerates it, which in turn draws more air through the throat into the reaction zone. Pneumatic Fans 20 and 24
To provide efficient and high volume air moving capacity Prime-Air Blowers has created the Prime-Air 24. The Prime-Air 24 is our largest pneumatic fan we have created thus far. When operated, compressed air is pushed through a nozzle at the tip of each fan blade, which propels the fan at high speeds creating up to 16,000 CFM. The Prime-Air 24 is precisely designed to fit 24” API tank openings. Like our other pneumatic fans, the Prime-Air 24 can be used as a blower or exhauster, by simply reversing mounting.
Prime-Air 20’s rugged aluminum fan housing and reaction fan is designed to produce 11,000 CFM at 100 psig (max) inlet pressure quickly and efficiently. Weighing only 75 lbs., this blower is easily transported from one place to another by using its recessed carry handles or it may be rolled. The unit’s flange design is designed to fit standard API tank openings. The Prime-Air 20 can be used as a blower or exhauster, simply by reverse mounting.
